It is cool morning today... Autumn days come quickly. Let natural wool boots to warm up your feet :) Felted boots for Autumn and Winter
Shoe part I felted of natural undyed wool, it is durable, solid and very warm. Top part is knitted of 100% wool yarn and felted, this process makes felt more flexible, soft, but also durable and warm.

Rubber toe soles

I was looking for a perfect soles for my felted boots for a long time. In traditional way galoshes are outer shoes worn in inclement weather to protect the felted shoes (valenki) and keep the feet dry. But traditional galoshes are so clumsy and big...

I found the soles, which reminds of galoshes, but are much more elegant. They are with rubber toe, so the part of the felted shoe, which is the most vulnerable to moisture, is safe now :) From now on, my felted boots and clogs, can be ordered with  these soles.

Lithuanian feltmakers Summer camp 2013

Last summer Lithuanian feltmakers joined into association. This year we had a great event of our association - Lithuanian feltmakers summer camp. Skilful felmakers participated there 4 days. We shared our skills, painted pieces with plants, joined all our ideas and fantasies into one big common piece of art – 3D panel "the bottom of the lake"

Vaikų vėlimo stovykla / Felt making workshop for kids

Atostogauja mano pirmokas, kartu ir sesės. Tik Maja prastu oru kartais nusprendžia eiti į darželį. Mano veltiniai eilėje laukia, kada iki vilnos prisikasiu. Paskutinį kartą kartą vaikai man leido tai daryti su sąlyga, kad vels ir jie:)
