Yesterday I dyed cotton gauze. Pink colour appeared to be really lovely:) so I used it for a girly soft items – nuno felted pink dress and felted baby blanket with silk butterflies

Dress-o-mania

My girls begin to wear their silk felted dresses everyday and everywhere, even in the sandbox :) So they both get their new nuno felted dresses of cotton and wool for everyday.

I love to felt dresses - light like a butterflies, white as icing sugar and something warmer for upcoming Autumn.

Summer is getting to the end... I felted the roses dress for my daughter Maja. It is made by nuno felt technique - made of very thin cotton and softest 16 mic merino wool - merged together they made a wonderful surface. It is a real pleasure to wear this soft dress, made of pure natural materials:)

Extreem felting

Labai ilgos atostogos... Neištvėriau ilgiau - iš skiautės šilko ir saujelės plonytės merino vilnos, be įprasto patogaus vėlimo stalo ir įrankių, sukurpiau suknutę mūsų krikštadukros artėjančio pirmojo gimtadieniuko proga:)
Pasirodo užtenka kampelio muilo ir vandens nebijančių grindų, skiautės burbulinės plėvelės, mažų padėjėjos kojyčių, muilo ir vandens:


Too long vacation... I could not resist and made a little nuno felted dress for our christening daughter's upcoming first birthday:) 
Extreem felting - without my usual table and tools. It is enough to find water resistant corner, a piece of bubble wrap, also it is good to have small legs of mother assistant :) and of course soap and water:

Majos šilko suknelė

Pakerėjo, pavergė mane šilko lengvumas, vilnos švelnumas, noriu visas mergytes tik rankomis suglostytomis suknelėmis puošti :))) Prie kūno šios medžiagos be galo mielos - šildo kai reikia, vėsina kai karšta, sugeria drėgmę, plonytis audinys tik vilnos sutrauktas nevaržo. Vilna neverpta, neausta - nuo kūno šilumos prisitaiko prie  formų.
Dar viena nonofelt technika iš šilko šifono ir merino vilnos velta suknytė. Ši Majai, kol kas balta todėl, kad noriu išbandyti šilko/vilnos dažus, kai tik rasiu ar įsigysiu tam reikalingą puodą :)

Tada bus ir foto daugiau, o dabar mano baltapūkis vaikutis lipa "ant podiumo" :)))
